Discussion

Name: neonode N2

neonode is the company name and should not be listed as the device name in the ideal world. But the 094b are assigned to Linkup Systems, not to neonode, i.e. it appears as if the USB bits were outsourced to them. This is how it shows in lsusb today:
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 094b:0001 Linkup Systems Corp.

The devide is a mobile phone, described in more detail on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neonode , the company seems to be no longer supporting it, though.

I need to correct my previous statement on vendor support. The offical page is here http://www.neonode.com/n2/, and it must have been their reworking on their web pages that it is not accessible (directly or indirectly) from their home page.

usb-devices knows the device already

T: Bus=05 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=094b ProdID=0001 Rev=00.90
S: Manufacturer=Neonode
S: Product=Generic Serial
C: #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr=0mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=ipaq

which may be important for this data collection. My initial statement concerning the lack of support for the device seems to have been correct, even though I managed to find the vendors past web pages.
