Noticed that as of 01/28/2010 on Ubuntu 9.10 that my Palm Centro wasn't listed under 0830:0061 when I ran lsusb. My Palm Centro is an unlocked version bought directly from palm.com. Palm documentation indicates that the unlocked version of the Centro is designated "ROW" (Rest Of World). I don't know if the Palm Centro versions that are locked to Sprint, Verizon or AT&T use the same Subsystem UD or how they designate those versions. Hope this helps!
