I don't have this device, but Argyll's udev rules define this:

ATTRS{idVendor}=="085c", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0400", ENV{COLOR_MEASUREMENT_DEVICE}="1"

There is no differentiation between the different versions of the Spyder 4, so the name probably shouldn't reflect any particular version.
