I think the '1a40' company makes USB hubs for other manufacturers. 1a40:0201 is a Logitech keyboard's integrated USB hub. Then it's possible that 0101 is also a Terminus product used by Sweex.

Bought a white "4 Port ON/OFF Switch + Mini 5pin USB 2.0 High Speed HUB" from China through eBay.
ON/OFF means it has a physical switch on each port.
Inside the chip says LG33344B6172C FE1.1a USB 2.0 HUB

This very cheap chipset is known to be quite limited because of its Single Transaction Translator (STT) and thus incompatible with a bunch of devices and OS.
