This ID isn't unique to the H80i - at least the H100i uses it, and possibly other newer coolers.
Windows utilities to monitor Corsair Link devices refer to it as "modern" (0x0c00 and 0x0c02 are the legacy IDs used by the controllers in AX and RM series power supplies); some of the documentation seems to refer to this as "Corsair Link Cooling Node"
