I should have added that the PID series starting at 0x1001 was intended for HGST branded products after HGST had purchased Fabrik/Simpletech.

The Hitachi Touro product line is probably PID=0x1005 (but I do not have a device to verify that)
Note also that the PID did not change when the HDD capacity changed.
