Hmm. I recently purchased a Tripp-Lite USB 3.0 4-port hub, model U360-004-R:

This hub also uses the 0x2109 vendor ID. What is also interesting is that the kernel log identifies the manufacturer as being "VIA Labs, Inc.", product "4-Port USB 3.0 Hub". No mention of "MX Technology", etc.
